Drew Kellum (stylized: Drew d'Lakes) is a Twin Cities composer, performance artist, music instructor, and meme historian. In previous years he has released 5 albums, composed music for Heart of the Beast’s main stage show, Action Sequence, toured with Mixed Precipitation's Picnic Operetta, and wrote/directed a multimedia performance art piece entitled Driftwomen, which toured the upper Midwest last summer (2018).
At the moment Drew is writing bright summery pop tunes for his new band “d’Lakes” and co-writing a new multi-media work revolving around the story of Penelope, with fellow artist and friend, Elizabeth Roddy. See more here

d’Lakes + SYM1 + TBD
Thursday, October 31st (HALLOWEEN) - Kitty Cat Klub (Dinkytown, MPLS) - 9pm. We have COMPLETELY re-written our music specifically for the greatest night of the year. Check out our once a year only set of spook-tacular d’Lakes tunes.
Thursday, November 7th - Palmer’s (Cedar+Riverside) - 9:30pm or so. We’ll be doing our typical wackiness of chant, free improv, oscillating rhythms and more. Keiko Kawakami + Munir Khar + Yarrow Naowa Shaddah!
Sunday, November 10th - Kitty Cat Klub - 9pm. Same as above and yet different every time. Keiko Kawakami + Munir Khar + Yarrow Naowa Shaddah
Wednesday, November 20th - Republic at MSP (airport) - 4:30-7:30pm. Elizabeth Roddy and I will be camping out at our favorite pub (but this time we’ll be in the airport and not on the west bank).
