Drew d'Lakes



Drew Kellum (stylized: Drew d'Lakes) is a Twin Cities composer, performance artist, music instructor, and meme historian. In previous years he has released 5 albums, composed music for Heart of the Beast’s main stage show, Action Sequence, toured with Mixed Precipitation's Picnic Operetta, and wrote/directed a multimedia performance art piece entitled Driftwomen, which toured the upper Midwest last summer (2018).

At the moment Drew writing bright summery pop tunes for his new band “d’Lakes” and co-writing a new multi-media work revolving around the story of Penelope, with fellow artist and friend, Elizabeth Roddy. See more here

What's going on?


Drew is:

Co-directing/writing a multimedia performance art piece with his long time friend, Elizabeth Roddy, on the topic of Penelope from Homer’s Odyssey

Performing with his new band, d’Lakes (say hallå on facebook!)

Teaching music lessons both privately and at Roger’s School of Music

Using music to enhance his recent affinity for storytelling

Producing music per request (contact me with your ideas!)

Working on performance art pieces that seek to connect the audience with their surroundings

Currently Drew is accepting students for:

Guitar / Bass / Cello / Ukulele
Mandolin / Songwriting / Theory

Lessons are located either at your home, my home, or at Roger’s School of Music

Lessons can be 30 minutes to a full hour (full hour only applies to private lessons)
