Drew Kellum (stylized: Drew d'Lakes) is a Twin Cities composer, performance artist, music instructor, and meme historian. In previous years he has released 5 albums, composed music for Heart of the Beast’s main stage show, Action Sequence, toured with Mixed Precipitation's Picnic Operetta, and wrote/directed a multimedia performance art piece entitled Driftwomen, which toured the upper Midwest last summer (2018).
At the moment Drew is working on both solo performance pieces that integrate textural music and storytelling as well as writing bright summery pop tunes for his new band “d’Lakes.” In addition, Drew is co-writing a new multi-media work revolving around the story of Penelope, with fellow artist and friend, Elizabeth Roddy. d’Lakes will be premiering their new songs later this spring!
